Day Two With Lyla

Aren't the girls cute in their matching dresses?  Lyla on the left and Lily on the right.  It is really  hot here in Arkansas so we decided to take the girls to play indoors at Chuck E Cheese.  This was Lily's first time there and she loved it.  The girls are so cute together but what is really cute is Lyla's brother Liem.  He is so sweet with both of the girls and Lily just loves him.  Lyla is really a lucky girl to have a brother like Liem.  He calls me Miss Vicki  and he loves to talk to me. And I love to talk to him.

Walking in to Chuck E Cheese

We ate lunch at a a different Pizza place.  They had some really unusual pizza's, like maccaronni  and cheese pizza.  Lily and Lyla both love tomatoes.  I think that is so funny.  None of my other children have ever love tomatoes when they were young.  Lily will eat a whole bowl of tomatoes.  They also had desert pizza's.  Lily like the chocolate peanut butter and I loved the cinnamon sugar one.

We came back to our hotel and the kids went swimming.

You would not believe that 6 months ago these girls had never been in a pool.  They are both fearless in the water.  Lyla's dad threw them in the air and played paddle ball with them.  They were exhausted.

After swimming the kids took well needed naps.
Later we went to dinner with Jeff's parents.  We went to a Chicken House and Lily and I had fried pickles for the first time.  They were yummy!  On the way home Liy talked to us a little more about their time in the orphanage.  We found out that if they got in trouble they would be put in time out in the laundry room.  She said that she did not get time out.  She shared that she slept in the middle and her friend wie gay ? slept on her left and Lyla slept on her right.  She said in a big bed.  She said they could see the moon from their window if they stood in it.  I get a few glimpse's into her life a little at a time.  Oh and at Lyla's we were playing basketball with one of those little inside hoops.  She just blurted out in the middle of playing that she played "ball" like this but with a big one in China.  She still says they had no toys only the playground.
