Look who is 5!!!!!!!!!!

Meilynn Grace Shiyue  is 5 years old.  This is the first picture that I ever saw of her beautiful little face.  Oh, the eyes!  I just knew the minute I saw  her.  I am not sure how old she was in this picture, but I would guess about 18-20 months.  Shiyue means poetic moon.  I think that it is a beautiful name.  I could not wait to go get her and see a smile on her face.  Little did I know that she had the most spectacular dimples and the most beautiful smile.

Here she is at 5 years old!
And with her sisters

A
Are they not the most beautiful little girls?  I am the luckiest Mom alive!

Kami, their older sister was trying to get a good jump picture of all of them.

Meilynn being silly!

Meilynn with her Grandma and my Mom.

Having fun with our little girl.  Then she got to twirling

She got going so fast that she fell down and cracked herself up.

In the front yard.

The Strawberry shortcake birthday cake.  I made the strawberries out of fruit roll ups.
Above this picture is Zoe.  She has been friends with Emma since Emma was 11 months old in Gymboree and then since Meilynn came home at 2 years 2 months.  They go to the same preschool.
Here they are making candy necklaces.  We did that as our starter activity.  Did you know there are really not that many candies with holes in the center?

Daddy jumping in the picture of Lily stringing her necklace.
We played stick the jewel in Strawberry Shortcakes tiara. Below Lily's first party game.  She loved it!  And below that, cousin Frankie whom Lily adores.

Emma's turn

We also decorated flip flops,  This is Meilynn and Emma's friend, Violet.
Blowing out the candles.
Getting ready for the swimming portion of the party.

Aunt Debbie having some fun

Meilynn with her balloons

The gift she wanted more than anything, "A big girl camera"  Of course hers had to be Hello Kitty!

It was a great birthday.  Lily cannot wait for hers.  It is June 5th, which is also Emma's forever in our arms day!  What a great time!  We will also celebrate big sister Kami's graduation from her Master's program this week.

GAH, so stinkin' cute, all of them. I'm going to need a copy of that of all of them on the lawn. We had such a blast.

Also, I think you are the only person EVER to take a picture of Z where she looks even faintly Asian. Hysterical!

xo,
Kym

What a wonderful birthday celebration! Happy, happy birthday sweet Meilynn!
There were some wonderful pictures of the party and with her sisters, but the ones I loved most were twirling. There is just something so sweet and carefree about a little girl twirling in a dress!
