Snow in California Part 1 and Part 2

We are going to the Snow!!!!
Part 1

We got snow in our local mountains so Kami took Emma and Meilynn up to play in the snow so I could start getting organized for our Trip to China.  We are hoping to go in early February.
Mike took Lily out to the desert again to ride the quad.  I didn't know that the snow was going to be so low and when she heard they went to the snow she wanted to come home.
 Learning to sled
You have to understand that we don't ever get snow, but we can drive up to it in about 30 minutes if it is low enough.
This is a lot of work

 This is the life!
 Emma with her hat low
Meilynn with hers high.  Here they are looking at some dogs that were on a hike.  They are still afraid of dogs!

Part 2

Lily heard about the girls going to the snow and she got her Daddy to bring her home from the desert early.  So the next day they went back to the snow and this time Lily got to see snow for the first time!!!!

It looks like they had a blast. We too live in CA, but we will have to drive more than an hour to get to the snow. My daughter Chloe has been asking to go to the snow for her birthday for the last 6 months. She will be 7 on the 19th, so we will take her to Shirley Meadows next weekend.

We should get our girls together one of these days! Great pictures!

I love all of the snow pictures! It snowed huge here right after we got home with Lyla in March & she LOVED it! The girls look adorable all bundled up!
