I am sorry it has been so long since I have posted! First Emma got sick. We think it was a stomach virus. It was very painful and lasted more than a week. I took her to Urgent Care and to her Dr. Then Meilynn got croup in the middle of it all. Mike spent the night on the floor with Meilynn when she came down with it. He called the nurse advisor and he had to take her into the bathroom for a steam for 20 minutes twice in the night, while I slept with Emma and just did my best to sooth her when she woke up all night. Now everyone has just a small cold so we are on the mend. Mike and I got to spend our first overnight away together in more than 16 months! Kami stayed with the girls. She knows my routine as well as I do,(well almost! ) We felt very comfortable leaving the girl's with their sister and feel very lucky to have such a wonderful daughter that we can trust with Emma and Meilynn. We rode our motorcycle's to Julian (a little mountain town) and stayed at a wonderful bed and breakfast. I wish I could say that I was able to sleep all night but with the habit of getting up with Emma at night I couldn't sleep all night. But I did get to lay in bed until 7:00 which is quite a luxury since Emma still does not sleep thorough the night and gets up between 5-6! Meilynn is a great sleeper. She goes to sleep between 8-9 and wakes up at 7. We had a great time just being alone together. And Julian has the best pie! My favorite is apple-boysenberry. In fact I liked it so much I am going to make it for Thanksgiving.
I ordered these letters a long time ago and they finally came! I had these letters for Emma but when I went to order them the girl that made them wanted me to send back Emma's becuase she wanted to re-do them and make them match Meilynn's new ones. Well she actually ended up making brand new ones for Emma. So here they are!

Meilynn's first taco. The night before everyone started getting sick!
Emma missed a special birthday party when she was sick, but Meilynn brought her this hat, bandana, and train whistle back.
When you don't feel well it is always fun to play beauty shop with your big sister
Isn't she pretty?
And when you don't feel well it is fun to have your Aunt Debbie come over and play tent with you
Today we went to choose our Christmas tree with Daddy and Mommy
There was a cool pond there!
Come on Meilynn, I think there is a good tree over here!
I found it!
Our Christmas tree for 2007!
The new Love Without Boundries book, Love's Journey came out and their is a picture of Emma on page 92 in the pool. Also, an article about Meilynn was published by FTIA in thier on-line newsletter. I will try to put the link here.
