I would recommend Love and Logic for the Toddler years and Siblings without Rivalry - both will give you great ideas.

But - since I guess you probably are short on reading time (smile) - I think the long and short of the hitting answer is when hitting occurs, to rush to the aid of the "victim" and shower her with attention and sympathy, without ever saying anything about or to the hitter. Oh honey, are you hurt. I bet that hurt. I bet you feel sad your sister hit you . . . do you want mommy to sit with you a while?

When your only pay off for hitting is watching your sister get all the attention - you might not hit . . .

Your girls are beautiful. Congratulations on your newest addition.Emanualhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13364653757679364764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16663112.post-82693512335392199212007-09-06T08:08:00.000-07:002007-09-06T08:08:00.000-07:00TOO CUTE!!!I am going to have to look into one of ...TOO CUTE!!!
I am going to have to look into one of those..
Have a Great Day..
KimKimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16373111344793230801noreply@blogger.com
