The Busiest Summer Ever!

I haven't been blogging all summer because we have not been home.  I actually took my computer with us to Italy in the hopes that I would blog every day as we did in China, but the connections were so sporadic that I gave up.

I am going to try and hit the highlights, but there were so many.  We were in Europe for a month, came home for a few days and then met Lily's friend Lyla and her family down in Carlsbad at the beach  house for a week, and then back home for a few days and then off to Cape Cod for Meilynn's adoption reunion, and then back for a few days and down to Carlsbad.

We got out of school June 6 and took off on June 9th.  Meghan, Nick, and baby Natalie flew over with us.  Kami flew from Barcelona where she lives and met us in Florence, Italy.  We hadn't seen her in over a year!

Leaving for LAX.  We hired a van service to take us and pick us up.
Meilynn and Jilliana on the plane!  The girls are great flyers!
Finally we see Kami!  There was a little mix up with our car here in Florence.  They tried to tell us that this little tiny car was a van.  There was no way that we would have fit in it. And even if we had we would not have been able to take all of our suitcases.

Waiting for our car!

We make it to our Villa!  This is the view from our terrace.  It was beautiful!  It was in the small town of Positano.  Do any of you watch House Hunters International?  My dream is to take a year and live somewhere in Italy.  We spent a week at this Villa and traveled out each day to explore historical towns of Tuscany.
Just arriving!

Noooooo, don't stop now you were just getting warmed up!

I sooo enjoy following your adventures and know that now that you have so many more children, there just isn't time, but OMG I LOVE YOUR accounts of what you do for your family.

Thankyou, thankyou, Vicki. I've followed you for years.
