Labor Day Weekend

Mom finally gets a picture of both of us kind of looking. Mommy and Aunt Julie took a million pictures trying to get us to look up!
Aunt Debbie with Emma and Meilynn Meilynn finally gets down to the wet sand! And even puts her feet in the ocean (well the little pool that Mommy made) Oh No! Here comes a big wave! This isn't so bad
Daddy and Grandma relaxing outside the motorhome Daddy's food is always so much better! We ate these cookies with Grandpa and our lips turned blue! This is a s close as Daddy could get Meilynn to the water Daddy with his girls
On our way to the beach in our motorhome It's always fun to have someone to eat with Mike and I have decided that maybe eating outside would be a good idea at our house too! If Emma isn't going to eat these grapes, then I will!!!!
We had a good Labor Day weekend at the beach. Our Church goes each year together. It was Meilynn's first time in the motor home and at the beach. She is still not fond of water but we did acutally get her down on the wet sand and she put her feet in a little pool that I made. My mom and dad went and so did my sisters, Aunt Julie and Aunt Debbie. The girl's had a great time on their quads. Meilynn became quite the rider. She rode all over the campground. She also had her first bike ride with Daddy and liked that as well.
Mike went on a bike ride with the men from the Church on Saturday morning and something happened on the bike ride to remind all of us to appreciate each day we have with our families. A rider that he was riding with died. He was going up a steep hill and just passed out and died. He was not an older man ,he was in his 40's and was used to riding. We had a service at the campground for him and his family. He leaves behind a Mother, Father, two older brothers, a wife and two children. The service was tearful and thought provoking but everone knew that this man was in Heaven. He lived his life for God and his family. It was amazing to see everyone come together and cry and laugh about this mans life. I cannot imagine......
